Books on MSFS????

Featured Replies

FS Friends,Are there books available that EXPLAIN in detail how to do add on aircraft, scenery add ons, weather add ons, or network with the virtual ATC system. I'm looking for a book or books that can help a beginner go on and do many of the things not explained in detail on the discs or the little booklet. Please suggest titles, and WHERE do I purchase these???Thank you in advance.Steve in Indiana.

There are, but they are not written by anybody who really knows what they are talking about. And some are just cheeky revamps of books intended for earlier versions of the sim.Best to try the specialised forums here, that's what they are for.Allcott

Hey Steve,If it's a book you really want? I would consider "The Good Flight Simmer's Guide 2003 MkII". Look here:http://www.pcaviator.com/shop/viewCategory.php?s=0&c=6It's decent enough and can give you an insight on Flight Simulator.Although as Alcott stated, these forums are really good for that type of information. I am at work right now, but maybe later on today I can do a search here on the forum for you on any tutorials that may be lying around.Hope this helps a little!!Jason
