September 23, 201213 yr Author I have just purchased and installed Addon Converter X for use with DX10 Preview mode. Unfortunately, I am now getting a fatal error whenever I try to load FSX. September 23, 201213 yr I had the same until I found and removed the culprit file. In my case it was some non-essential vehicles bgl in one of the addon sceneries. It looks like ACX still crashes on some bgl, I sent my file to the developer of ACX to figure out who is to blame for the crash. Read the name of your bgl ACX crashes on on its popup window. Hope this will help. Dirk.

September 23, 201213 yr Was it a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) type crash or just a CTD? Can you tell us what the faulting module was in the Event Viewer? You can also download and run a program called AppViewCrash from the following link: http://www.nirsoft.net/. Much easier to find the CTD than the Event Viewer for many. September 23, 201213 yr Author Hmm, it seems to be ES-CI-Lib.BGL. This is one of the main libraries for Earth Simulations Channel Islands scenery. What puzzles me about this is that I know someone who uses Addon Converter X and also has this same file installed.... September 23, 201213 yr Author Jim, It seems to be caused by ES-CI-Lib.BGL, which is one of the main libraries for Earth Simulations Channel Islands scenery. When I removed that, FSX loaded OK. However, I can't do without that library!
