September 28, 201213 yr Hi, As there was a scenery develpment list, I was thinking about an development list for FS9. As most addon developers have switched to FSX there is still a few (and many freeware authors) still making FS9 airplanes. The only payware project I know for FS9 today is the QualityWings 787, and a lot of Russian freeware. However, if anyone is aware of new airplanes still being developed for this simulator, feel free to post them in this topic. Hopefully FS9 is not dead... Yet
September 28, 201213 yr Airsimmer 320 Advance and Airsimmer Basic 318/319/321. ah, and PMDG 777 (ha! kiding..)
September 29, 201213 yr I heard that too. Has someone speculated what sort of bird they may develope for fs9?? 777? 330???
September 29, 201213 yr haha... well, it certainly won't be an IL-96. So I hope this will be an up to date 777 (as the current ones are old and the posky doesn't have clickable buttons). I don't think they're making an Airbus since a lot of other companies has already made that, and who know's who is still making them in secret. It wouldn't surprise me if they're making a 737 classic.
September 29, 201213 yr Airsimmer 320 Advance and Airsimmer Basic 318/319/321. ah, and PMDG 777 (ha! kiding..) Airsimmer A320 - I don't think so! They are inactive since months
September 29, 201213 yr Airsimmer A320 - I don't think so! They are inactive since months Funny, I just interacted with a guy from the team just about yesterday and also downloaded DAL 320 CFM livery last night from the tablet pc that connects to their site. The basic 321/319/318 type is also ready to be released. So I am not sure I understand what you meant by 'inactive'.
September 29, 201213 yr I wonder if anyone has any info on a project to produce the SEPECAT Jaguar that was being done for AlphaSim shortly before they closed up shop. Their successor, Virtavia, doesn't seem to have taken it up, although the screen shots that were released seemed to show that it was very nearly ready for release. I recall that it was a very high quality product and have often wondered if it might ever be completed and released....
September 29, 201213 yr May be they are working with Basic edition.. I have been there customer twice and ended up with refund.. I have inboxed FLEX manier times asking about progress report regarding advance.. but no response so far..Nik , Samdim Almost all others are silent
October 3, 201213 yr From another post I read, it appears that the developers for the Airsimmer Airbus have left. What a pity...
October 3, 201213 yr I heard that too. Has someone speculated what sort of bird they may develope for fs9?? 777? 330??? I would take both if the quality is as good as 737....and their 737 is a top product. I have to say I don't miss the PMDG title w/ this Ifly quality product.
October 4, 201213 yr Ifly have another too I believe. Hmmm. From the ifly forums... Steve Masson Posted: Jun-07-2012 at 5:03am Nothing on the horizon for the future, all the guys have full time jobs and families and you can only do 4am days for so long. Hopefully in the they will recharge their batteries and come back with another project. Given the development time for major projects you maybe looking at 2015. Unless the paper glider is releases sooner. Also http://ifly.flight1....next-project-is We have been working night and day on the Feature pack, if there was another project in the pipe line just when are we supposed to work on it. THERE IS NO "NEW" PROJECT THERE WILL BE NO "NEW" PROJECT IN THE NEAR FUTURE. Just to show you the time scale of developing an aircraft. The iFly is now nearly 3 years OLD and we STILL have not finished it. When the feature pack is finished, I imagine the team will be taking a long and well earned rest, before starting the next project Where is the post saying they are working on a new project? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
October 4, 201213 yr Hmmm. From the ifly forums... Where is the post saying they are working on a new project? So there will be no new project in the near future. Interesting, I thought some of the core members were full timers. Thanks for the info
October 4, 201213 yr Actually, there just was a new project released and it hardly seems to have been noticed. Maybe because it's freeware. I'm talking about the AerMacchi MC205 Veltro. One of the best fighters of WWII, a challenge to fly, great VC, great external model, great sound. Free. New. And for FS9 only! Who knows what other surprises may be lurking out there? Cheers Ian
October 4, 201213 yr There was a topic about virtual cockpit for the TinMouse 737-200 in development, many Il-76's, some Tu-204's... For the freeware section we do not need to worry as the developers make their planes for the simulator of their choice, not where the "marketing" is.
