October 8, 201213 yr Nope not Miami Beach, the area is called Midtown..a few blocks north of Downtown and the American Airlines arena. Yup --- That's exactly where I thought it was!! Looking east/northeast. That's Miami Beach across Biscayne Bay!

October 9, 201213 yr You could almost walk to the cruise ship terminals. Looks like about 2.5 miles or so from where you are. Used to go to South Beach on Saturdays and have drinks watching the cruise ships sail out of Govt Cut. Looks like Smith and Wolensky's have that place now. Would love to spend about a week revisiting all the old haunts. Ya got me looking at cruises out of MIA now. (I prefer FLL for overnighting before a cruise though)
October 9, 201213 yr I live in Hallandale 30 Minutes North of Miami Beach and most of the residents are from Russia or other Soviet Countries they out number Hispanics.
