October 4, 201213 yr i agree with richard. people may not be fortanate to havean external hardrive in their back pocket also when i make a purchase of an add on, i do like it to be sent as a cd because then i can look forward for something in the post. it makes it a little bit special rather than downlading it, waiting for ever then to find out it didnt download proberly and having to start the process all over again which is annoying and aggrovating Thomas Wills the reason i have a external hard drive is it will will save me the hassle of re installing everything from scratch again, so much easier and much quicker too. Corey, i prefere a hard coppy so that when i come to needing the cd i can find it quicker by looking at the spine and also knowing that the cd is save in the box. i can ubnderstand that people like downloading it then burning it to a cd. i have been brought up to buy a box versions of a product instead of downloading as many factors can go wrong! also i enjoy waiting for it to come in the post as it gives me something to look forward to. Thomas Wills Well if your download goes wrong its just a matter of downloading it again, if your purchased cd you got happens to be damage in some way you have to go to the trouble of sending it back to get it replaced how long does that take more than a couple of hours i imagine. October 4, 201213 yr Author sorry pete but whats your problem? i have said what i like but you just keep arguing that downloading is the bestest thing in the world. to be onist why did you come on this topic just to bash my opinions. there is no need. Good for you! if your purchased cd you got happens to be damage in some way you have to go to the trouble of sending it back to get it replaced how long does that take more than a couple of hours i imagine. If you put it away when you finish with it there should be no problem. Its not the sort of disc you will be using all the time. Anyway each to their own if your happy than thats good I totally agree with you. Remember that next time you shoot down someone's idea. I was replying that what happens if the disc come damged or it doesnt load which in some cases it has so you have to send it back , whats wrong with mentioning the external drive thought that be the best bet doesnt cost that much nowdays if you shop around. The original question was "Is the 600/700 expansion pack going to be available" not "Is putting my FS files on an external hard drive the best way to back them up" And seeing as though that question has been answered there is no need to keep debating. Everybody has their own personal preference and that's the way it should stay. Regards, Richard Nobes Yes, I sometimes exceed 250kts below 10,000ft! Imagine that....
