December 21, 201213 yr I have The same Proplem! But My AI traffic is Also sinking in to The ground and atc continues to reminds Them to climb. When i load an aircraft after The flight plan My airplane sinks in to The ground and Then crashes. The only thing working propperly are The missions. Everything started when I installed GPWS For all My jets. I Also have Windows 7, wich I know FSX is'nt made for, but everything had been working Great before. I have The acceleration expansion pack, World of AI traffic, GSX and some FSdreamteam airports. I have Also installed smaller texture files to get better performance. As I Said before I have some freeware GPWS installed.
December 30, 201213 yr I have just the same problem as Newbie described it. I have no extensions to the origiinal software and it have been running perfect until yesterday. Mission runs great, but free flight crashes the plane the moment load is done.
November 20, 201312 yr You have corrupted flight plans. You must delete all the flight plans you saved and make new plans. I was hoping that deleting the last saved flight plan would be all that would be required but evidently it did not work for you. Here's what Microsoft said for FS9 users that had this error - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919053. The flight plan system is the same in FSX. You can find all your saved flights in My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files. Best regards, Jim Congratulations to information and thanks for sharing with us ! By-the-way what could cause this ??? Warmly, Marco Aurelio
November 20, 201312 yr A saved flight plan you are using as the default got corrupted. How? When you saved it, it had certain configuration data that probably no longer exists on your computer. So, the plan is looking for the data, can't find it, and crashes. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! November 20, 201312 yr Here's a ready-made Default Flight. This file is a replacement for FSX's default situation file (which is dropping you off in mid air over some airfield, and the first thing you need to do after launching the flight is to gain control over your diving ultralight). The file puts you onto the apron of the very same airfield (this time in the default 172), everything is switched off and your tanks are empty. OK, but why should that be an advantage? The fact is, this file is used as a template or "skeleton" for any other flight being created by the "Free flight" option. - Hans Schaefer, 2006. It works well and without any issue. pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
