October 2, 201213 yr I am sorry if this has been raised before however I am having an issue with switching back to FSX with the 737NG loaded. The screen just reverts to a black screen and this also happens if I access FSUIPC and go back to my flight. It only happens with the PMDG 737. I have tried new graphics drivers etc and the problem is still there. Sometimes my VC will flash back up however it is transperant exhibiting strange graphical artifacts. Anyone have this issue? October 2, 201213 yr Author Thanks for your reply. I am not using an external limiter for frame rates. Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Catch us over at MassieSim32 -> https://discord.gg/B4buuHGhcr
October 2, 201213 yr I wouldn't recommend to Alt+Tab FSX. Oh, how many flights I have crashed alttabbing... Instead use "windowed mode" (Alt+Enter). Dmitrij Nazarenko
October 3, 201213 yr Author Thanks mate. Switched to windowed mode and no further issues. Cheers. Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Catch us over at MassieSim32 -> https://discord.gg/B4buuHGhcr
October 3, 201213 yr Thanks mate. Switched to windowed mode and no further issues. Cheers. Jas And when you're in windowed mode you can use Alt-TAB all you want. At least, that's what I'm doing. Kind regards Peter
October 3, 201213 yr Is there a way to get rid of the FSX window borders in windowed mode? They annoy me quite badly. Hans WolteringMy Airplane Photos on Flickr - My Website
October 4, 201213 yr Author Hans, Its one thing that annoys me too. All I have managed to do is auto hide the task bar however this still leaves the top border. Not sure if there is anything else you can do. Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Catch us over at MassieSim32 -> https://discord.gg/B4buuHGhcr
October 4, 201213 yr hold ALT, it'll disappear Holding ALT makes the menu-bar withing FSX dissapear, but not the windows borders. This leaves you with a stupid blue border with on the top the title bar of the window. That is annoying, especially when flying during the night, it's much too light. There should be a solution for this... Hans WolteringMy Airplane Photos on Flickr - My Website
October 7, 201213 yr I have always found windows mode a bit annoying especially when flying at night., but unfortunatly it works better. One small solution is to your appearance settings and make all the windows black. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
October 10, 201213 yr I always run full screen, and always use alt-enter to switch.. Normally never a problem. But..... I did recently have a problem with that, and it was scenery related of all things.. If I run the ORBX CEJ4 scenery, I have trouble switching back and forth. It will hang for long periods going from windowed back to full screen. Why it does that, I dunno.. I don't have that trouble with any of their other airports. Only that one.. Must have something different about it, and it makes my sim get pretty goofy. Just thought I would mention that, in case it effects anyone else. I can disable that scenery, and everything is normal. BTW, this effected all aircraft in that case. Not just the NGX. Mark Keith
October 11, 201213 yr Gday Just a reminder , the ngx does not like to be reloaded, that is why PMDG put the menu into the CDU, of the fms. If you want to reread the introduction for the NGX, it has a lot of good tips ect Jeff jeff atkinson
