July 4, 200421 yr I've just uploaded my Grand Teton NP project to the Avsim library and so it should be available in due course. This is my first scenery project so please be kind to me!! Actually, I welcome all comments as I believe that's the best way to learn how to improve things. Please also point out any errors you find. I've marked this as version 1. A few things I'm slightly unsure about are 1. My poor rendition of the Jackson Lake dam.2. The lack of a good transition from new scenery roads/rivers to default scenery roads/rivers.3. Small misalignments in some rivers and lakes.I hope to correct a lot of this when I do a second version. Many thanks to Holger Sandmann for giving me the inspiration to do a scenery project and Wil Husted for giving me the inspiration to to a US national park.
July 4, 200421 yr No Problem? No Pork? No Smoking?lol sorry, I had to. Thank you for this addon, I will download it asap :D
July 4, 200421 yr It's really refreshing to hear a designer who's open to feedback (good or bad). I really feel that's the best way to grow. So many here choose to ware their feelings on their shoulders and then we have some end users that jump on that same horse as well. You'll post a comment concerning a lagitimate issue and have someone upset that you said anything at all. Yet in the end the problem get's resolved for everyone's benefit. *:-*I'm sure your work is awesome and with your attitude you'll learn and grow with the rest of us. July 4, 200421 yr Not bad for your first attempt, Victor. Very nice indeed. I only flew for a few minutes over the Tetons, but it looks great. Now there are plenty of lakes in them thar hills (unlike the default)! And the lakes and streams follow the correct contour of the mountains now. Installation was easy, too.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/82764.jpgThanks for your efforts and fine addition to the sim.Greg
