I am enjoying re-creating flights that I see on cool tv show called NWT ICE PILOTS.

 

Here is freezing -40 degree weather flight from CYBE Uranium City Airport located 4 NM 5 miles east of Uranium City, Saskatchewan, Canada to CYZF Yellowknife Airport located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.

 

After finishing delivering 10,000 litres of automotive fuel to Uranium City now boarding cockpit for return flight from CYBE to CYZF

Finished with pushback and now getting ready to start engines

 

 

Engines started!!!!

 

 

Entering into runway 24 for more taxi and backtracking while battling tough snowstorm

 

 

Taxiing while sunrise shines on the plane

 

 

Still taxiing with background view of fuel storage tanks where the plane had previously unloaded fuel into

 

 

Backtracking is complete and now holding position on runway 24 revving up engines as part of required engine runup to make sure they would perform in -40 degree snowstorm weather

 

 

Airborne on climb to 10,000 ft now entering thick clouds

 

 

Now cruising at 10,000 ft (darn I should have picked 8,000 ft which would put my plane right on same level as top of clouds)

Look up the word "ugly" and here is what you will see, the rest are nice but how can you sit in that VC? it looks like a bad jigsaw.
