October 5, 201213 yr Hey Guys, I'm not new to FS but I'm getting back into FSX after a couple years away. I build my own systems so their always in state of upgrade it seems Here's what I'm running now: Intel 2500k OC'd 4.4 with a Coolermaster 212evo EVGA 660ti MSI 67a-gd55 mobo 16gb Corsair vengence @ 1600mhz 3x23" Acer P236h monitors I reinstalled FSX using the proper methods and followed the new guide for tweaking the .cfg, etc. Here's my hang up: FSX runs GREAT in single screen mode at 1920x1080. However, if I change the resolution to 5760x1080 and go full screen then while in the cockpit I try to bring up a panel with shift+2, etc, etc. the frames drop to about 10 and the cursor turns to this weird disc shape and I have to exit the flight to get things to reset. I've done searches but either my string wasn't right or this problem isn't too common. Thanks!!!
October 5, 201213 yr Are you disabling all of the fancy aero effects? Also have you tweaked your cards using this (http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/) tutorial? I use a tool within advanced system care called turbo boost which disables all of the extra stuff my gpus have to run. Also make sure your resolution is set correctly for all monitors in the FSX settings. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
October 5, 201213 yr If I am not mistaken, there is a file in the Avsim library called something like "Triple Monitor Fix".
October 5, 201213 yr I think you'll find your answer in this thread: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/385443-triple-monitor-problems-in-fsx/#entry2478154 -Ray
October 7, 201213 yr Ive had this issue happen to me when a 2d panel tries to open and its too big for the screen. You have to go to panel.cfg of the aircraft you are using and resize the 2d panel popups. PM me if you need any help. Good luck Kacper Nowotynski
