I must admit, I was slightly adamant about trying another weather/camera addon!

Picked up 'OpusFsx' this morning,and did a few test flights,and to say that I'm impressed, is an understatement!

A fine piece of softwre indeed,very simple to use, with great results!

Furthermore, the commitment being shown by the developer in supporting the product,and releasing frequent updates is exemplary.

I just did a few flights with the VRS F18,and the cameras were superb,and the weather realism was beautifull.

I wonder what will happen to rex and AS? they are suddenly knocked off the pedestal Nothing comes close to opus !

I think REX won't go anywhere simply due to textures which is their main game.

 

AS on the other hand who knows.

 

As we speak I am about 10 threads into reading all about this before I buy in like....T - 1 hour. As it stands I am really really tempted.

William, try out the demo - you have nothing to lose.

 

Its a complete package, you can get rid of ECZA as well, which IMHO had a terrible interface.

Well, played with the demo for about 1 hour, loading into different areas and bought it last night.

 

I am so happy with this software. I have ditched EZdoc and now am learning to set up some camera views, with a very nice and way easier to use GUI.

 

The only issue I am having now is getting my TrackIr5 to "calm" down. It is like a humming bird and with smoothness all the way to 51 in the software (TrackIR5) I see no difference.

 

Going to have to do some reading.
