October 19, 201213 yr Hi all, just would like to see if someone could give me some advise on Ultimate Terrain X (Europe), I have had this for quite a while and it was, is working and looking awesome but sometimes it can look blurry during a session and the next session it can be crystal clear and crisp, confused. The other question is can someone give me some advise on adjustment settings for flattening, slope and offset settings that can be adjusted in the advanced section of the setup tool box. Cheers Rod.
October 19, 201213 yr Possible reasons for blurries - fragmented HD, parts of PC not powerful enough, too many apps running in background etc etc. Maybe GPU RAM/speed. Use this for setting up Windows and FS and also as a starter for your UTX question http://www.simforums...topic29041.html
October 19, 201213 yr Hi Rod, Blurriness is usually when the system is a bit overloaded and it puts the scenery as low priority over reaching your frame rate setting. What frame rate is yours locked at? I have a fairly fast system but I still keep it locked at 20fps to stay smooth and keep crisp textures when I'm flying CPU intensive aircraft. If I'm flying GA then I might lock it at 30.
October 19, 201213 yr Author Hi Dan thanks for the input, yeh could be right with it being a bit overloaded when using PMDGNGX, radar contact, AES and FS2crew at the same time but on ocassions it runs really well with that all running at once, my frame rates are locked at 30fps and haven't tried 20 but will give it a go
