October 23, 201213 yr HOW do folks get away running 3 monitors @ 5760x 3600 resolution? TH2GO - but I run at 5040 x 1050
October 23, 201213 yr Definitely not. 2nd GPU won't bring back the FPS, going high resolutions costs when it comes to FSX. You're stuck, just like I am (also running 2560x1440 on 27inches). Word Not Allowed, i need to ask you something about this, i saw this post so i wan't start new thread: I'm trying to help a friend of mine with his expensive fsx system. I managed to get rid of OOM errors, i did completely fresh windows 7 and fsx reinstalation and tuning. But he has 4 monitors and 2 GPU-s, i don't have a idea how to configure that, i never tried to use even 2 monitors. So, fsx is running well, but there is some problems with refresh rates, probably different types of monitors and refresh rates, i didn't check this - i just tried your tweak with 1/2 refresh rate + 30 locked fps - i thouth maybe i'm lucky. But is not ok, i will check refresh rates. Can you tell me how to set monitors resolution, (it's different models)? I'm waiting right now for a mail with configuration and i will post here monitors/gpu's details. But maybe there is some general rules? I can't see configuration and how he use displays, i saw his system only via TeamViewer. Thank You in advance p.s. How much i need for home cockpit, i saw somewhere 60000$? Maybe Flight training is better option for that mooney, the only way to get rid of stutters and stop investing in sceneries and planes Zeljko Budovic
October 23, 201213 yr TH2GO - but I run at 5040 x 1050 Well I know that. My fascination was running that kind of resolution without killing performance. But if its scenery only, that answers that question.
October 24, 201213 yr i don't have a idea how to configure that, i never tried to use even 2 monitors. Same here mate. Always had one monitor only. I could at best start guessing. Can you tell me how to set monitors resolution In Windows and in FSX? Control Panel and set in FSX the same? Huh? I can't see configuration and how he use displays, i saw his system only via TeamViewer. Over TV you should be able to set everything by right clicking on the desktop and settin resolution... p.s. How much i need for home cockpit, i saw somewhere 60000$? For a fixed cockpit with full equipment, you can count with about $60,000, yes. For $60,000 you will not get ATPL flight training, at least not useable one.
