That snow effect on the aircraft tires is normal during winter months. You'll see a different effect in rain. It should not be a cause for any freezes. High settings or maybe a bad sound card driver causes the freezes. I've had a couple of the freezes and, yes, I have to do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and hit the red power button on the right corner to shutdown and restart.

So heres an update....the hard crashing and freezing at Helsinki was down to human error on my part. I had my monitor plugged into the PC rather than the port for my GFX card, this was realized months ago however in the last few weeks ive had a considerable drop in frame rates and also crash to desk top in various spots..Heathrow, Dulles and so on....

 

What was the freeware program that could be run in order to find out what caused the last CTD? I did have this at one point but have deleted i think?....

 

My AI traffic is set at 90%

GA at 30%

And road, boat all at around 15%
