July 11, 200421 yr Dear BillWhen I reread my reply to one of your posts in that particular thread (I guess you know which one I mean), I got the impression , that what I said, could have been mistaken as an offence. Bill, I assure you, that I was never my intension to insult you. If I did, I only can ask you to apologize.RegardsWolfgang
July 12, 200421 yr Bill, Due to my lack in English I had phrased my appologies wrongly (thanks Mike for calling my attention to this!). What I wanted to say was:"Bill, I assure you, that it was never my intension to insult you.If I did, I only can ask you to accept my apologies."RegardsWolfgang(new post, bacause it was too late to edit the original one).
July 12, 200421 yr Moderator Hi!To be perfectly honest, I don't recall the circumstances or the specific message, so whatever you said couldn't have been all that horrible! :)But, your apology is gracefully accepted, for whatever reason - needed or not... :) Fr. July 12, 200421 yr Author Moderator Wolfgang - Your post brings up someting that all of us in the flight sim community should keep in mind. We have many posters like yourself where English is not their native language. When I read your original post, it took me a second to realize what had happened. Had I been the target of your post and had read it too quickly, I might have posted a nasty ( and completely unwarranted ) reply. So, as a word of caution to all of us, if you read a post and get hot under the collar - be sure you completely understand the intent of the poster before firing back.Just MHO,VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
