October 26, 201213 yr Hello, I am interested in purchasing some of the PFC hardware...like the yoke and throttle assembly (737). However the shipping from the US is prohibatively expensive; to the point it's actually cheaper for me to fly to the US and pick them up. Is there another option for us Europeans? I am aware there is a Spanish dealer, but they are upto £300 more expensive on the actual devices. Thanks Ian R Tyldesley
October 27, 201213 yr Hi Wotan You're right. I have owned a large console for 11years. Shipping costs then were sensible and relatively small compared to the equipment's cost. Their charge for phone assistance is very high too. I was going to buy another throttle unit some time ago, but was staggered to find that shipping was going to double the cost. No thank you! I can only think they don't want to sell into the UK any more. Regards Frank Regards Frank Jones

October 31, 201213 yr Doing one comparison on Dutifri.eu, the 737 TQ with the A/T button: 610€ vs 600$ on the PFC page. 180$ more. Plus the shipping from them is lower than from the USA. And you would pay more for the import-tax, since it's usually calculated like this: (product-price + shipping) + % for import-tax + sales-tax (VAT) - here you pay roughly 25%. So, in the end: cheaper or quite similar, depending how expensive the shipping from USA would be. So, there is no escaping those payments if you want to obtain it. I'll be making a review of the console and the 737 TQ hopefully quite soon, maybe even tomorrow or the coming weekend, so you just might hold off that decision.
