OpusFSX Question

Featured Replies

This may have been asked already, pleae forgive if I am repeating. Does the new OpusFSX wx program allow for usage of historical--yesterday, last week, last month, last year--weather data?? I would suspect that since their programming is based on METARs that this would seem not to be the case.

I believe it does. I have and use the software, but, I haven't tried to use historic METARs data. However, page 7 of the User's manual does discuss historic weather. The best place to ask is the OPUSFSX subforum or go to their website. Stephen is very responsive to questions.

At the moment you can import historic METARs via a text file but we will soon be implementing an option based on your sim time, so you just set that and the software does the rest. We have a topic on Flight1 relating to historic weather.

Thanks Cheryl. I'm afraid this post more or less duplicates one I posted (correctly) at your fourm just a little later. Sorry for the double work.
