Is FSX still being sold?

Featured Replies

Hey! I decided to take a break from FSX. My problem is, is FSX still being sold at BestBuy, GameStop or even Walmart? Also, will I still be able to register the product key after Microsoft dropped support? Thanks!

Happy Landings!

Yes it's still being sold in stores. I don't know about bestbuy or Walmart though but it's still in stores.

And yes you should be able to register it

If you can't find it at stores by you, try the Internet. Amazon etc

I just bought a few copies of FSX Gold (3 x DVD) on eBay for £12.99 with free delivery..

Insanely cheap piece of software when you think of all the hours of entertainment it can give you!

I bought my copy of Gold from Amazon.co.uk just a couple of months back. It's still available, but I'd expect it won't be forever.

Isn't it crazy though that we can buy the core sim for £15, then think nothing of spending £40 on an add-on to make the weather look prettier, or have little trucks and buses drive around our plane at the terminal gate.

£40!!! *******, I wish.. I think I've blown several hundred easily so far on 737NGX, FS2Crew, FSFlyingSchoolPro, numerous aerosoft airports, GEX-Europe, Accu-feel and other bits and peices, and thats before we even get started on all the Saitek kit £1000+ Super-duper gaming PC £2k then there were the 3 24" screens...

Yeah, I was thinking £40 per addon, which seems to be the ballpark for major functions like weather engines, voice comms or ground services.

Or how about VoxATC, a snip at £99?

Not criticising the prices as such, just amused that we spend so much on enhancing a £15 game.

I know, I was joking about the same thing too...
