November 3, 201213 yr I've been flying the iFly 737 a lot lately, and am considering getting into something Airbus. A nice VC, FS2Crew support, and functional FMC (with update-able Navigraph airacs) are essential above all else for me. Various videos and screenshots I've seen seem to indicate that the Wilco Evo fulfills those criteria pretty decently for the most part, but I've heard mixed things about Wilco in general. Would any Airbus Evo owners care to share their experiences? Of course I'm not expecting it to be iFly quality, but it still looks fairly decent. Plus I like that it includes a bunch of different models, from the A318 through the A340.
November 3, 201213 yr The original version with FS2Crew is the best way to go. Stay away from 'Evolution' version as nothing really new on a professional level is offered. The new feature are implemented poorly and come off as a hack job on the original series. November 3, 201213 yr It's not a bad product, but it's not comparable to Ifly quality, to be honest. Altough it offers all the single aisle Airbus derivates, it feels like you're flying a Boeing in Airbus clothes. And the exterior models are not "payware quality", which will force you down the always tricky merge road. Can't comment on the VC quality as I uninstalled these planes before I entered my VC-only era. It does however give you integration with FS2Crew and a good representation of some of the Airbus systems. But don't expect something legendary.
November 4, 201213 yr The original Feelthere Airbus Series love it or hate it is the best represented Airbus for FS9. Airsimmer doesn't work for many people including myself plus it doesn't include the whole series. For those who have Airsimmer working tough, It's the sort of addon that gives you trouble at home with your wife. Finish a flight and you are wishing for another one
November 4, 201213 yr Hi have an it is OK-ish. It's not bad and arguably the best Bus for FS9 at this moment. The FMC (or what it is called in Bus language) does the job, but has some flaws, like not updating the TOD when changing route/star etc. Bottom line: Rather good bus but no way near iFly/PMDG etc I can't judge about Airsimmers since I don't have it. If Airsimmers runs OK on your system, it probably might be (a lot) better then FT. November 4, 201213 yr Author The FMC (or what it is called in Bus language) does the job, but has some flaws, like not updating the TOD when changing route/star etc. I've actually read that an update has fixed that. Thanks for your input though. I don't have the Airsimmer. It's the nicest AB I've seen, but there's no FS2Crew for it, apparently.
