Is anyone using FSBrowser?

Featured Replies

If you are enter this URL in your favorites folder inside FSBrowser.http://mylog.simradar.comusername: promopassword: promoCan you check if the PDF approach plates and chat application load without problems? Why FSBrowser is 100 times faster than the kneeboard when loading HTML pages?

No. I didn't really know what it was as the information in the download was somewhat vague.

PDF files cannot be read unfortunately, same as doc or xls files. Upon clicking the link it will just open the associated program in the background instead of showing it in the fsbrowser window. Pity. Just print the plates you need ;)

I have not tested this myself yet, but I received advice in another thread that FSBrowser will display PDF files correctly if you start the Acrobat Reader up before you start Flight Simulator.

I just did a basic (as opposed to advanced) search for fsbrowser and found a lot of interesting stuff. Check out the thread started by Meatwater.David

FSBrowser is a module that using its own interface allows you to browse the web from within FS9 - it is a much more complete web-browser than the default FS9 kneeboard as it has navigation buttons and supports things like multiple windows, popups, and apparently PDFs so long as you start acrobat before FS9...Best,sg
