Stutters Galore..

So, it could possibly be a hardware issue?

This is a shot in the dark, but do you have the Intel 7 Series Chipset Family AHCI Controller driver installed for IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers?

Lemme check... If this doesn't work, I am starting fresh and doing a clean install of Win8 and FSX.

Just got a fresh install of Win8 64Bit and FSX.... STUTTERS GALORE!! :LMAO:

I honestly give up... I'll live with them for now. <_<

EDIT: After further tweaking with the CFG... it seems that the BP=0 tweak doesn't play nice in Win8. I'll have more info tomorrow.

Ehh.... I have actually moved up to DX10... VERY smooth and frames are great! Win8 + FSX DX10 seems to be the best bet for me at the moment.

Just out of interest, do you use hyper threading?

I use an i7 990X, With it on ad Affinity mask set to cores 2-6 and the same threads for those cores, (4092)

No stuttering,

when i tried disabling it, and just cores 2-6 (62), stuttering started..

I have now reset, and back to the original affinity mask, and no stuttering again.

Nothing to do with Software issue, but Hardware issue using win8
