Hi, only with pmdg 737 ngx when i escape from flight or crash, windows always restart the fsx from the beginning! Is threre a solution?

I don't know what you mean, but I think that

a) you are trying to be a stupid troll or

b) are thinking that going back to the original FSX free flight menu is restarting or

c) you are resetting the flight and not exiting it

Is this how you greet all newcomers to Avsim? Do Avsim's Terms and Conditions not apply to you? Or maybe you think it's just "cool" to trash people who don't post to your standards. I reported your post to the mods--I'm not afraid to speak out against trash talk in any forum, even forums I don't visit much. Got a problem with that? Please feel free to PM the mods and ask for my removal from the forums.

I really hope that you noticed the 3 times I repeated the word or in my post.

And no, I do not greet all newcomers that way.

Only the ones that sound like they are trolling - which unfortunately happens a lot around the interwebs.

In response to your other questions, yes, the AVSIM terms and conditions apply to me just as they do to anyone else.

Also, in what way am I trashing him? Like I mentioned before, the word "or" appears 3 times, indicating that I am suggesting that it could be either this or that.

And maybe my help is not legitimate, or perhaps you are reading the post in a harsh tone, as it is sometimes when you cannot physically see emotion. I assure you that in no manner did I attempt to trash him, but rather warn other users, or the OP, to not troll, if he was trolling; I also offered assistance in a crude manner, for which was my wrongdoing and, if the OP was genuinely seeking assistance, should ignore my post in its entirety.

One last note - I applaud you on your upholding of the rules and TaC/ToS, and hope you continue to do it.

I believe everyone needs to get back on topic. Involving the topic, It can be either, most likely FSX.

 

I suggest cleaning the FSX.CFG by deleting it, don't worry, FSX will rebuild it.

 

Get back to me if that does not help.

Let me see if I understand what you are saying/asking. When you press the escape key on your keyboard after a flight FSX crashes to desktop and starts back up? This only happens with the NGX? Did I get that right?

Hi, i don't know what triggered "TheSimmer" to call me like that...However thanks very much all the others.

The problem is that, when i stop the flight with pmdg 737ngx or crash it, INSTEAD of put me on the fsx menu page with previous setting(airplane,weather,airport,time,), i see a message on my screen that windows restart the fsx from the beginning.After restart the fsx menu page has the default setting which are different from that i set earlier with pmdg 737ngx

I think the problem may be that you're running out of memory. Have you added HIGHMEMFIX=1 to your fsx.cfg file?

 

I highly recommend you take a look at Word Not Allowed's tuning guide (http://#####.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/) It increased my stability and performance a lot!

The highmenfix=1 is only for the missing textures i could be wrong though

Hi john i just did did a quick seach on the topic you have raised and if you like you can do the same as well it brings up lots of reasons for the ctds.

 

1 Some users have said installing the latest fsuipc has solved it since i have the latest version and i havnt had any ctds on exiting

2 Or you can try adding the uiatomationcore to your fsx installation which i havnt done since i got the latest fsuipc and some user have said it fixes it as well

 

Some one else will add thier thoughts on the problem hope you get it sorted

I voted for your comment. This is what I was going to suggest. When I was exiting flights FSX was crashing and restarting but only with the PMDG. That was back when it first came out and all I did was update my FSUIPC. I have not had the problem now for... how long has the NGX been out? At any rate that fixed the problem for me. Here is Pete's page; you can give it a try, it might just work.
