I started using the new sp2 yesterday. All of a sudden I'm getting disappearing clouds, shifting winds, not sure if I have somthing set incorrectly. I am using dwc, with additional stations so maybe that is it but I have tried with them off and it is worse. Any ideas?

Please make sure you don't have any other weather setting add-on activated, as there may be a conflict here. For example ATC network clients need to have wx set off. If using FSUIPC, please make sure you have updated to the latest version as earlier versions can cause issues. Also ensure you are using "wx settings off" with FSUIPC.

Thanks for the info. I have to upgrade my fsuipc didn't know there was a newer version. I will let you know how this helps.

I upgraded my fsuipc to the latest version set all weather settings off. I was flying a flight yesterday and on approach the wind kicked up to 60 kts than all of a sudden dropped to 10. I fell out of the sky, this won't work.lol I didn't have this problem until sp2. The sudden changes are new to as2012 for me so maybe I just have my settings wrong. Any advice would be great.

There should be no changes in SP2 related to wind depiction. Something strange is going on possibly related to simconnect network communications performance. We have no other similar reports. Please open a ticket so we can collect more information and troubleshoot. Thanks!

My first thought was, you shouldn't be getting shifting winds with DWC. Double check and make sure DWC is actually checked in the options. It's possible that you've selected another depiction mode in the opening screen and this has turned off DWC.
