November 19, 201213 yr Author Hi, And it's usually better to move the main gear contact points back a foot or two, rather than adjust the CG which could have other effects. Thanks Tom. I've been so busy with other things I haven't worked on this yet, but will get to it today...
November 19, 201213 yr Another difference in ai from flyables is how the weight stations are set up and also adjustments to gross weight. ai are rendered about 60 nm from your aircraft position. While mostly applying to large aircraft these items are adjusted to simulate fuel burn so proper fuel loading is used so you are not overweight or off cg on landing. Particular symptoms of incorrect ai weight modeling are an arriving aircraft stalls out on final approach near the runway. If you are modifying flyables you'll need to copy the entire model into its own renamed folder first the changing the UI name and title for the ai version so the ai version will have its own aircraft.cfg. Be sure your aircraft.txt file is adjusted when creating the traffic file for the ai version title. I agree that the cg should remain as is.
