November 19, 201213 yr Hi When i touch the rwy, the AB stay active for 1-2 sec, and then they disarm, without that i have pressed the brake or other. I have tried with AB at 1 and 2, without armed the spoilers, without the brake set on my pedals, but i have ever the problem. Can someone help me please? Many thanks Stefano
November 19, 201213 yr Spooky, ive just come on with the same problem. Not had the problem on my old computer but have just reinstalled all my software and cant get the brakes to stay on after touch down as with Stefano above. The brakes flash on for a coupe of seconds then go out, not actualy sure if activating the reversers trigger the brakes off ? didnt think to try that. I have the Saitek rudders, not sure if this has anything to do with it but as I say didnt have this problem on my old Dell computer ? Gary B. Gary Blake.

November 20, 201213 yr The Saitek pedals are the issue. Strangely, they keep a bit of brake applied even without the red "Brake" prompt showing in FSX. Basically, you're landing with your brakes already applied and that's what causing the issue with the AB. The 'solution' is to set your null zone to zero and bring the sensitivity way down within the FSX axis control options. This works for some. You can also play with Deadzone settings in the Game Controllers options within Windows itself. If it doesn't help then you're SOL unfortunately as Saitek's cheap 'pots' (they aren't even real pots unfortunately) tend to get gummed up pretty good. You can disassemble the thing and try spraying it with some electrical contact cleaner. It's even more frustrating as you don't see the little bit of axis applied within Windows calibration. If you try and play with your axis' in another sim like DCS you'll see it within their axis config. The short term solution is to briefly engage the parking brake before your approach, then take care not to apply any brake until the landing...Your Auto brake should function correctly then. November 22, 201213 yr I'm using Saitek pedals and have had no problems with them calibrated by windows (not FSUIPC), full sensitivity and no null zone. I actually switched to them because of the brake problems I was having with my CH pedals. Are only some Satiek pedals sensitive to this or could it be a different problem? Tom Landry
November 22, 201213 yr Ok, at some point I'm gonna be able to tear myself away from work to try work it out ... I reckon I've got conflict between having the pedals assigned and calibrated via FSUIPC and also through FSX. Thats not gonna be healthy is it. As I say will report back once I get a moment to take a look. Gary B. Gary Blake.
November 22, 201213 yr I should mention that Tom has is right; it's zero deadzone and full sensitivity as he says, not my backwards-thinking zero deadzone + low sensitivity. My bad! Patrick Houghton
