FS2Crew for NGX - Two Questions

Featured Replies

Hi,

Hope this thread's ok here (if not, sure a Mod will move it)

Two questions about FS2Crew for the NGX;-

1). Does it affect frame rates / performance at all ?

2). The FS2Crew website only seems to sell the "button control/voice control bundle" but I have no interest in voice control, do they not sell the button control version only, does anyone know?

Cheers.

Have you ever tried it? It will seriously revolutionize the way you sim. I'm not joking in the slightest.

I have it for both the NGX and the JS4100 and they're my favorite aircraft for the reason I can just shed load onto my FO.

...and hey, now you're getting the voice control for "free" along with the button control version. You should really try it out.

After reading many reviews I finally went ahead and got fscrew for my ngx. It downloaded and installed fine. However, when i launched the config it doesnt recognize that my sp1c is installed. It will not enable the voice or button control programs. I get an error that it cannot rewrite the panel.cfg. I have reinstalled the sp1c and the fscrew, also i have taken off the UAC like it suggests. Still it wont see that i, in fact, do have the service pack installed. Any suggestions to clear up this matter would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Caddieca,

You may want to post this at the FS2 Crew forum. Bryan over there is very helpful and will do his best to assist you in relation to installation probs, etc.
