November 20, 201213 yr Hello evrybody, A while ago i bought the flightbeam ksfo scenery and i still really like it, but what recently started to happen is when i'm on approach for any runway my plane just drops from the sky at the beginning while i am 50 or more feet above the ground and have a nice decent rate and speed. It really annoys me since i really like this scenery and want to start making little movies for it. I really hope some1 can help me out. regards.
November 20, 201213 yr Welcome to Avsim, David. Sounds like you have some kind of elevation issue around the place. Well, you can always download a fresh version at their site and reinstall. If the problem persists, perhaps post a screenshot (from the replay) and head for their forums. Are you running any other scenery in that area? To test, you could disable it and check the approach again. I recall the first versions of the airport receiving an update on the actual elevation. But that was just to avoid any bleed-through terrain, not so much about invisible obstacles at the approach. As said, perhaps head for a fresh install first, just in case.
November 20, 201213 yr Author well i flew a little parcour with a 747 and the problem didnt occure this time but ill go make more landings tomorrow and see if it's totally fixed. TY for your help it's really appreciated
November 20, 201213 yr No problem. If it happens again, take a screenshot. So others can check if it happens to them too. I saw such problems at a few spots, but not at KSFO so far. Good luck.
November 20, 201213 yr I had a similar problem with version 1. Version 2 fixed it for me. Good luck! Regards, Aaron
November 22, 201213 yr Yes. This one. http://flightbeam.ne...c.php?f=7&t=203 It's a nice product, I bought it, but was exceedingly displeased that a 3rd party add-on, with all of the nice enhancements, has DOA jetways! Would never have bought it had I known.
