Unable to edit my post

Featured Replies

Is it just me, or has the button for editing my own posts been removed for a certain reason?

(I'm using Firefox 17.0)

Thanks for your help

Flo

P.S.: I just recognised, that I'm able to edit this particular post, but it seems I can't edit any other post I've made.

Florian

I think that the editing of your posts has a certain time limit, whereby no further editing is possible

For topic integrity, you don't get to edit posts after a certain amount of time.

On the iPad at least I find the Edit button is sometimes greyed out immediately after posting.

Like now with my post above.

Ok I have figured it out.

The edit button is immediately greyed out but if you just post again straight away it will be added to your previous post.

So you can add stuff but not change things.
