November 27, 201213 yr How do I load FSX flight plans, in .flt format, into RC? I have the latest version of RC 4.3.3845, but on the main page I can only load .pln/.apl files? Yes I have set up the correct path to the .flt/.wx files in RC Options. Jack the Swede in Spain Jack J Jackson Castalla, Alicante, Spain
November 27, 201213 yr Commercial Member How do I load FSX flight plans, in .flt format, into RC? .flt files are NOT flight plans, but saved FS 'situations' (plane selected, position, speed, control settings, radio settings, etc). FS flight plans are in .pln files only. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. GPU: RTX 24Gb Titan 2 x 2160p projectors at 25Hz onto 200 FOV curved screen

November 28, 201213 yr Did you get an answer to your question on flight plan loading? If not, I suggest using the free PlanG flight planner if you don't already or any other flight planner you know of that develops a .pln flight file. Once you build your flight, save it as a .pln file for loading into RC. Once you open RC, you load the flight plan using the button in the upper-left hand corner of the RC program display. You're probably familiar with that already. If not, the RC manual can show you the way. You may also want to save the flight plan as a .plg if you want to display it on PlanG in the future in addition to using it with FSX. Enjoy. Mark
November 28, 201213 yr Commercial Member do you want to load .pln files? click the load a .pln button. you can only load .flt files, if they were saved by rc, and that creates a .rcd file. you then would click the load a .rcd button, and select the .rcd file - that will load the .flt file for you jd JD Read my blog
