December 4, 201213 yr Author The version I have is 10.20b5 - can I go back to 10.11 without re-installing which takes hours. I thought I had tried Seattle KSEA and it had airport buildings, ramps etc but in this version there is nothing like that at Seattle now, there are one or two buildings and a couple with trucks by them but it is mostly just grass. I understand what you say about graphics cards, I have now managed to get this running at 17-19 fps which is OK for flying with (just).
December 4, 201213 yr 10.20b5 is a beta version and may cause several problems. If you just want to fly and not to beta-test, run the "updater" inside XP10 main folder and uncheck the "get betas" box. This should bring you back to 10.11 without a new install. Does KSEA show up in your custom scenery folder? Flo Flo B.
December 4, 201213 yr Author Where do I find the updater - I have X-Plane.exe and X-Plane-32bit.exe, the first tells me I have the wrong operating system and the second is what I run X-Plane with; there is also a Plane-Maker.exe and Airfoil-Maker.exe but no other exe files. In custom scenery I have KSEA Demo Area and KSEA Demo Terrain but nothing else for KSEA Sorry to be such a pain but I feel that with your geneous help I am making progress, maybe slowly, but progress nevertheless
December 4, 201213 yr You can find the updater here: http://www.x-plane.com/downloads/x-plane_10_installer-updater/ Download and then run it, then uncheck the "get betas" box. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
December 4, 201213 yr I doubt it will do any good to the FPS . But a try is always helpful. go ahead update it and check. The minimum card you should get it is a HD 6850 / 70 or a Nvidia 560 Ti. I think the 6850 should not be costing more than a $150 (I am from India so I removed $50 as the 6850 in India costs $210 hence the price difference , India the prices are just too high) Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
