December 13, 201213 yr A good friend of mine has started 737 training at Higher Power Aviation. I stumbled upon their Facebook page and was tickled pink by the picture on their profile. http://www.facebook....53407726&type=1 (sorry for those who don't have Facebook...this is a copyrighted photo and I cannot link to it otherwise) Forget about the beautiful full motion simulator...I call your attention to what you see OUTSIDE of the cockpit window as the proud pilot and instructor pull up to the gate. Look familiar? It is easy to take for granted the immense power and realism that each of us have available at our finger tips. So those of you who have invested your hard earned money to purchase addon's to make FSX a real as it gets (short of having your own Level D simulator in your basement), you really are getting your money's worth.
December 13, 201213 yr Cool! First time I've seen that in a "real" sim. Last sim I used (F-16 sim) had lousy graphics. Looked like some ancient photoscenety from FS 2000... Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
December 13, 201213 yr OK, I'm missing the point... some help please? looks like they're using aerosoft's AES program, which would mean they're using FSX for their sim.
December 14, 201213 yr Another question would be: is he really pulling reversers for pushback (power back)??? Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 15, 201213 yr You really think that is AES? I somehow doubt it... i don't know for sure. just a guess; seems to be what the OP was alluding to. maybe the OP can verify with his friend.
December 17, 201213 yr Author You really think that is AES? I somehow doubt it... Yes, that is EXACTLY what it is. FSX, addon airport, AES....no more no less.
December 17, 201213 yr I call your attention to what you see OUTSIDE of the cockpit window as the proud pilot and instructor pull up to the gate. Look familiar? Hey, that's Stan my marshaller! I thought I gave him the day off! AJ Pongress
