I can turn the handle but can't for the life of me figure out how I can open the doors to the flight deck.

How else is that gorgous flight attendant going to bring me my 18 year old single malt scotch??

Based on the 747-400x, clicking on the handle should simultaneously turn the handle and open the door.

It "should"but... not happening with the -8.

I have the same problem and would like to be able to opern the flight deck door. I tried the plain 747-400x and that door opened but went to the 8i and it doesn't. Maybe a PMDG developer will read this post and help. First popst and hope moderators are helpful. thanks

The reason the door doesn't open is because there is nothing behind it.I used keyboard to walk thru it and they have not develope a -800 upper deck as yet. Wait for new v and I'm sure the door will open.
