December 19, 201213 yr Hello, Im flying a 737-800WL NGX for my VA. We are are carrying a maximum of 183 PAX with that aircraft, but the PMDG 738ngx allows only 12/150 PAX. Is there a possibility to change the seating in the 737 NGX? Thanks for Answers Martin Kurze
December 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member Just enter the payload as weight instead. Weight is weight. People are weight, cargo is weight. You could fill the back with same weight in lead bricks and the plane would behave the same. Kyle Rodgers

If they had modeled the differences between pax and cargo, having full pax should make the cabin temp behave differently than having an empty cabin. But, I don't think they did.

But, I don't think they did. They don't have a cargo version, so no, I don't think they did. In any case, the cabin temp isn't of much consequence in this thread. Again, I could throw lead weights in the cabin and on the seats to simulate the same weight as passengers and the aircraft would behave the same. That being said, it's reasonable to just use the total payload as an approximation for other seating configs. Kyle Rodgers
December 21, 201213 yr This has been requested many times, as a large number of operators configure for 183. However kyles suggestion semi works in creating the weight to simulate carrying a pax load of 183. You can work out the weights pmdg uses for paxs in the 737 and just increase cargo load to replicate it. It not ideal and a shame that the ngx doesn't allow for this extra seating CFg to make it more realistic when creating load sheets. But at least you can use kyles method to ensure your flight, fuel, and load is correct, as overhaul weight is overhaul weight however it made up. Regards James Carr
