Airbus X Extended Load and Save FP

Featured Replies

After going through all of the steps to load a flight plan into the MCDU, is there any way to save it, or load one from an external source such as FSC? It does not save when saving the panel state. Is this to be a feature in a future update?

Thanks and happy holidays!

Once your flightplan is loaded into the MCDU, click on the MCDU's menu button. There in the reddish boxes, you can enter a name for your flightplan and save it.

At present, there is no capability to load flightplans from an external program like FSBuild or FSC.

Are those red boxes under the title "CO ROUTE"?

It keeps on telling me that it is in a bad format.

I ran into that issue as well but solved it by using this format: e.g. KORDKMEM01. the two numeral suffix was what made it work for me.

FSC was recently updated, and you can now create and save flight plans in AirbusX format, then load them via the FMC

Also PFPX from Aerosoft will let you export with various formats and set up a flight plan for you. Seems a bit daunting at first and is payware. Try google for different flight planners - free or payware.
