December 23, 201213 yr I wanted to extend a customer's thanks. In short order I have purchased the F-15E, F-86, and T-38 and can report that these are excellent products and are a true delight to fly. The Milviz team does a superb job on these niche aircraft and they are well worth the dollars paid. I only wish the team could do an SR-71 that came close to the detail produced on these aircraft. However, I see that an MU-2 is in the works. In anticipation of this product I am going to go ahead and get the FAA-mandated special type rating. Thank you for adding quality products to the simulation marketplace. Daniel Fernandez
December 23, 201213 yr Thank you for adding quality products to the simulation marketplace. Agreed! :clapping: Now if they could start developing for DCS... DIMITRI
December 23, 201213 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the compliments. As for DCS, I will not break my NDA BUT, I will say that we will probably never code for DCS. The reasons are manifold but the main ones are the total lack of a viable SDK, no dev support whatsoever and management that is not helpful at all. Add to that, the codebase is changing all the time (without warning and or notice) and that means that what should be a 3 to 6 month turnaround, is now more like a year to two years. I wish the other devs well (as well as the clients) but we're not going there. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. November 13, 201312 yr This Thread was started by Dan F saying: "I wanted to extend a customer's thanks". I want to do the same. In early October, I bought directly from MilViz some products. I downloaded them but, because of the limitations of my computer and flight sim skills, I had trouble in trying to install and activate them. I waited a couple of weeks until one on my adult children was visiting and got him to do it for me. That exercise for one of the products could not be completed as we received a message that the key was invalid. In retrospect, I suspect that that may have been due to my fumblings. I sent an email to Colin Pearson at MilViz explaining my predicament. That was during business hours on a Monday, Melbourne Australia time. Within a few minutes I received an email from Colin giving me a direct route facility which got over the problem. I was not expecting such a prompt response - after all, it was Sunday night in Montreal. There is a current Thread in Hanger Chat called "Why are flight simmers so rude for each other?" Some posts make adverse mention of responses by some developers/publishers. Colin Pearson and MilViz reflect the other side of the coin. A big "thank you" to them.
