December 31, 201213 yr You should never stop that process. It only causes more problems and to restart or shutdown Windows your only option is to Ctrl-Alt-Delete and click on the button on the bottom right. It is definitely not a solution. Since you a Windows 32 bit system, have you tried employing the /3GB switch - http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=9583842&linkID=9240697 ? Best regards, Jim BTW, I lived in Woodbridge for a few years back when I was imprisoned working at the Pentagon. Hi Bob, Been down there, did that too. Only I'm still imprisoned here in Woodbridge/Lake Ridge. Hey! Isn't NORAD/Peterson AFB located near Colorado Springs? It's a nice area though. It's a nice area though. Best regards, Jim Hey Jim I thought Woodbridge to be a nice place...but only if you don't have to run the Slug 500 every day! We lived east of US-1 off Neabsco Rd--I remember one Saturday afternoon it took me an hour to make the 3-mile trip from my house to Potomac Mills. One of the reasons we picked Colorado Springs was the absence of that sort of traffic (although the traffic in Santiago Chile where I served my final assignment made even DC traffic seem tame). There is an abundance of military presence here, with Ft Carson, Peterson AFB/NORAD, the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, the US Air Force Academy, and Schriever AFB. December 31, 201213 yr We lived east of US-1 off Neabsco Rd-- Know exactly the area you lived as I had friends living in the Newport area. I lived south of there off Route One in Dumfries and recently moved to Lake Ridge just off the Prince William Parkway next to the County Complex. Traffic remains horrendous and anyone thinking about going southbound on I-95 after 3:30 or 4 pm should think again. Ugly! I retired in 1999 mainly because of the traffic. January 9, 201313 yr Author Hello Jim, i enabled the 3GB Switch, but the problem still exists :( and sorry for being late again, my internet connection went out again
January 9, 201313 yr I would probably say your system isn't powerful enough for FSX, and a 32 -bit OS won't cut it. I would try drastically turning down your sliders, or upgrade your computer.
