Go get this one - it's superb!

Recommended Posts

There's a new version of Milton Shupe's Dash 7! I didn't know about it, no idea why they decided to upload it to FS.com only (Usually Milton Shupe's stuff is uploaded to the library as well.); I'd love to have it in the AVSIM library too, but well its their choice in the end where to upload it.

I'm a big fan of this aircraft and have been flying it since its debut in FS2002. But then again I'm a big fan of all of Multon Shupe's stuff!

Looking forward to trying the new version out.

I'm very happy with it, when I have time (which by the looks of it will be

2034) I will fly it around some more.

Everything works OK in FS9, but no Vertical Speed adjustment in FSX. Other than that, brilliant !!

Well, I tried it, I liked it a lot, specially the way it feels it doesn't belong to ground but air, and the way it's handflown. However I find something curious: In 2D the condition levers move with the prop axis; in VC they move with the mixture one. Is that right, or is just me?

I too have found this one to be a gem. Thanks to everyone that made this excellent freeware offering possible!

@Luis

It's a known bug. You can download the model fix from the SOH website.

Can you give us a link to the fix.

I thought that it was included in the new pack, it says so in the readme -

In addition I added VC Rain, correctly implemented condition levers, improved lighting and vc gauge backlighting, yoke textures, floor textures in the cockpit rear area, etc.

I haven't been able to find a fix for it on SOH, but I did find find a complete package from them as well:

http://www.sim-outho...=6&linkid=15103

It appears to be the same thing as on FS.com.

This should be the link: Scroll down a bit on the page and you'll can see Milton's hotfix update for the model.

Downloaded it, but it's not the fix for my problem: I'm still getting the odd behavior with mixture and prop levers: in 2D condition levers move with prop, in VC they move with mixture.

Guest mole_man99

Thanks for pointing this one out. I was going to buy myself the Qualitywings bae with my Christmas cash as I fancied going back to something with dials. They only have the AVRO for now with digital engine readouts.

This Dash 7 looks just perfect. Downloading patiently at 7kb.sec. It's like the old dialup days tonight for some reason.
