January 9, 201313 yr It has to do with the flaps, your not supposed to raise them more than 15 upon landing till the ground crew can cofirm that there is any ice or snow lodge between the flaps and wing due to damgae.

January 17, 201313 yr It has to do with if Runways if Ice, Snow or slush on them, obviously not really simulated. The Co-Pilot does differnt actions when those procedures are selected read page 40 for de-ice and pages 41&42 for the procedures your asking of let me know if that helps, I've used it a few time landing in KMSP during heavy snow and Departures too! If yes "Y" he follows the procedure if no "N" he does normal operations.
