January 4, 201313 yr I'm going to assume (a dangerous thing to do) that since Harvard Glacier has been up for 2 hours today, that it is in fact the AOTD. This is a repeat, and if you didn't collect it originally, now's your chance. I consider it to be a fairly good cache to collect. Enjoy. Thank you. January 5, 201313 yr - Now wait a second, I hear you say. Havard Glacier?? Again?? What's the deal?!Well, we heard your feedback that you wanted to have another crack at aerocaches that have previously been released, but did not win the AotD poll, so going forward, Fridays are going to be "Flashback Fridays" - when we dip into our store of previously used Aerocaches and pull a good one out. They also get to be voted on again, so if there was one that missed winning previously that you'd like to see win, it'll have that opportunity! Kitty~
January 5, 201313 yr Rick is correct, as we have been saying all along. It is Harvard Glacier, part of the College Fjord. All are named after major American University's. Steve
January 5, 201313 yr Author Sounds to me like someone is running out of aerocaches if we're going to recycle old ones that didn't get voted as permanent. I thought the whole object was to bend to popular vote as to which became permanent or not. Doesn't really matter but now Thursdays will be "Iditarod" aerocaches and apparently Fridays will be "Recycled caches". Thank you. January 5, 201313 yr I'm glad to have the opportunity to pick up some I've missed. I do wish we'd get some new ones in Hawaii that aren't attached to waterfalls, though. - Peter C http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bob_and_Ray_Show
