Ahhh! Now it makes sense. That from a fellow Hoosier! I have worked this afternoon (After the Ravens/Colts game) with the free radio panel and have both the RXP530 and RXP 430 in there, though I can't get their aspect ratios where they should be when I retain the ADF tuner. I will be out of pocket for a couple of days (heading from my Maryland home up to State College to watch my alma mater IU play some roundball). When I return I may sent you a PM describing my efforts. I increased the vertical size of the VC_02_FR blank in Photoshop and still did not make progress. The two fuel warning lights seem to be an impediment. I also completed a custom livery, using IU red, which was by-the-way only a slight change, recoloring the gold stripe to gray, and adding my custom tail number.

I did the same thing with that repaint. (N219JV) I got a quick question for some reason when I have the GNS430 on the ALT selector is only going up by 1000ft increments. Any ideas why its doing this?

Never mind. I figured it out!

????? Do not understand what the GPS has to do with the ALT selector. Can you elaborate?

When I had the GNS430 on....... the ALT selector on the AP were going up by 1000 increments. (Ex. 1000 2000 3000). I went into FSUIPC and checked fix control acceleration. It works like a charm now! Sorry for the confusion.

I have worked this afternoon (After the Ravens/Colts game) with the free radio panel and have both the RXP530 and RXP 430 in there, though I can't get their aspect ratios where they should be when I retain the ADF tuner and there is clearly room for the correct aspects in the panel as you can see below comparing the VC to the popup, which has the correct aspect.

Since both the 530 and 430 provide the COM1/2 and NAV1/2 radios, why in heaven's name do you keep the BK-155 radios on the left subpanel?

Replace both of the 155's with the GNS530, and either place the GNS430 at the top of the right panel, or stacked just below the GNS530. Move the other avionics around as needed for a harmonious balance between the two subpanels.

Simply changing the height of the bitmap won't work. There is a "physical polygon surface" on which the gauges are "projected." That projection screen is fixed in size by the compiled model.

It would be like trying to squeeze a 8x10 photo into a 4x6 frame!

Great question! In all honesty I was so focused on adding both GPSs into the panel that I didn't recognize that. I guess the challenge got in the way!
