January 17, 201313 yr It is my favourite long haul plane for sure! Mostly doing cargo flights in the MD11, I like the fact though, that one can do pretty short hops within Europe with it too! Another fact I love about it is, how well it performs and how good the fps are, if you have in mind how deeply the complex systems are modelled!
January 17, 201313 yr I've recently come back to flying this one myself. It really captures the feel of a heavy jet well. And its automation is really unique. If only I could tame the way the VC viewpoint seems to drift around as the plane turns. Makes hitting the smallish MCP clickspots pretty tricky.
