MCP (Boeing) not work with LINDA

Featured Replies

Hello i installed Linda and copy the files in the ,,Modules'' file....than i start LINDA and LINDA says that FSUIPC,COM PORT and so on is ok...but the problem is when i start the fsx i cant use my MCP because it dosen't work with the FSX :cray:

Have you verified that the correct COM port is entered? Have you made the COM entry in fsuipc.ini? In LINDA setup have you selected MCP Combo 2?

You haven't given much info to work with but maybe one of the above is causing the problem. My Boeing combo works perfectly with LINDA

I think it is okay.... :rolleyes: Lindaerror_zps19222701.jpg

Did you check what Com port VRiSim or SerialFP2 says it is using to connect to the MCP2, that is the same port number you need to select in Linda. It's quite rare (but not impossible) for it to be Com 1, as that is usually used by some other device connected to your PC.

Cheers, Andy.

Yes....VRiSIM says that port number 3 is correct but when i take port number 3 in Linda...Linda says that is not correct (fsuipc4.ini : something is wrong, x=com 3= not found)

Linda says that the Version is correct (FSUIPC 4.853)

Please humour me an update it to the latest version, I beleive at least one build around that number had a problem.

Also of course FSUIPC must be registered, but I am sure you already know that, I'm just checking.

Cheers, Andy.

I registered fsuipc and i think 4.853 is the latest Version is that correct?

No 4.859m is the latest version if you read a little further down the page I linked to above.

Can you also copy and paste to your next post the section of the FSUIPC4.ini file labeled [VRinsight] just that section not the whole file as it can be very large depending on how many assignments you have made.

Cheers, Andy.

i update fsuipc now :rolleyes: [VRInsight]

1=com0

2=com0

3=com0

4=com0

5=com1

6=com1

7=com1

8=com1

9=com1

[Programs]

RunIf1=C:\Users\JAN-PH~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EXa0.088\LINDA-v1.11\linda.exe is this correct?

No replace it with this;

[VRInsight]
1=Com3

Thus removing lines 2 to 9 as they are there in error.

Cheers, Andy.

After a few months I get the problem again and I don't know why.
Linda says:
''[E] LUA.0:  ---> ERROR:: Could not open MCP Combo port!''

In my FSUIPC.INI I have this:
''[VRInsight]
1=com3''
In the Linda settings I take Com 3 and FSUIPC version is 4.910

Can you help me?
