January 15, 201313 yr Hi All, I'm not sure if this is a RealityXP, FSX or ORBX problem so I'll put it here as a starter for 10 and see where it ends up... I'm flying Air Hauler a lot atm (ahem...for the last two and a half years, solid) I've bought EGDY (RNAS Yeovilton) as my FOB, and I cannot fly an instrument approach with the listed ILS on RWY27. It says it's the correct freq (111.30) and displays the correct ILS name on the GPS but the beam never appears on the HSI (or VOR2 if I set it up so) My question: is this FSX, ORBX' rendition of EGDY or is it just that RXP has the wrong freq? I have the updated (May 11) Db for RXP... Interestingly, Air Hauler lists it as not having ILS (which it does in RL) Any takers? Thanks  JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
January 15, 201313 yr Download Airport Design Editor, this will let you open the airport bgl and look at the ILS data. You can check the ILS freq and other settings. http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/

January 15, 201313 yr Regardless of what RXP GNS displays you'll have to use the FSX frequency (it's probably out of date). Easiest way to figure that out is to go to FSX Map view and click on the airport... it will pull a list of frequencies up. Look for your ILS freq. You can change it with that ADEX link he gave you. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
