November 9, 201312 yr Did everything you said Jim but still the same "Xpax can't connect to Simconnect check connection' Fed up with it! Is there something I need to do specifically for XPAX ? Something I have obviously missed. I did everything you said. Paul
November 9, 201312 yr Did you set up and configure the 2 necessary simconnect files, one on the client and one on the server? Did you include the correct data in those 2 files? Did you place those 2 files in their proper places?
November 12, 201312 yr HI Jim, Going out of my mind here. I now have SDK install on both Client and Server. I have read around this topic in circles so I am attempting to cover myself by putting it on the two. I still get the same message when opening Xpax. 'make sure FSX is running etc' Here are some screen shots of my attempted configuration. Maybe you can make sense of them? Hope so. Cheers, Paul
November 13, 201312 yr Did you install the 3 versions of Simconnect on the client computer? Not the SDKs but Simconnect. Your SimConnect.cfg file is wrong. All that you have in that first section should be in section .3
November 13, 201312 yr HI Jim, Thank you so much for your time and patience. Yes. I installed the 3 versions on the client sp1a etc on the client and the other files. Am I right in my interpretation that you are saying what I have in the Simconnect.xml above should be in the Simconnect.cfg below? If this is correct what needs to be in the Simconnect.xml above? please don't lose patience! I know I test it! Regards, Paul
November 15, 201312 yr Hi, Let me ask you this: From each SDK did you run the SimConnect.msi file? No the Auto section of the simconnect.cfg file should be under Simconnectconnect.3 just not the Auto line.
