January 17, 201313 yr Hi fellow simmers! Recreating a series of flight, this is the first one of four of a trip I will never forget. Had the opportunity five years ago to come along with two of my friends and be stand-in guitarist in a cover band at Hotel Farinet, Verbier Switzerland. Maybe some of you ski-junkies know the place. Their "Apres Ski" is absolutely nuts, jam-packed with people getting intoxicated to say at least :clapping: Had a blast during the whole week we were playing there  Starting up with a cold & dark cockpit of this MD-82, will certainly miss flying these amazing machines. SAS only has 18 left.... GSX doing its thing, and does it really well! A good bye wave to the ground crew, and cleared to taxi to RWY03 via Z, Y. And we're off, the climb rate of the MD80 never cease to impress! Turning right following TOPLA 1M depature. A little bit of turbulence as we approaching to our initial altitude of 5000 feet. Passing the Swedish/Danish border. A calm morning at CPH, approaching RWY04R Parked at terminal 3, Gate D1. The next flight SK613 Copenhagen -> Geneva will follow soon, flying the Airbus A321. Feel free to comment as you like!
