How introduce custom points in fmc?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I have been searching a little in the AOM manual and here but didn't find anything (maybe it was in front of me.. but didn't see it). Is there any tutorial or information how to introduce new points in the FMC? I mean for example: 28DME distance from VOR "LOL" in radial 243.

Thanks!

You can obtain a real manual for the Honeywell GNS-XLs, there is a lot of interesting reading there.

Thanks for that Bart. I just "Googled" it, and it came up #8. Never thought of looking before. Looks very interesting. We might "find" some more features that are implimented.

The "Improved" model is very nice too. I wonder if we will get the "upgrade" in the J41 ??

.... [ just kidding! :P ]

Don't know about that / simbol... I just discovered that I have to put the * key after the vor to enter the offset page. That is what I wanted to know. I don't know if there is another direct way to enter.. but the / symbol don't exist in the fmc.. and there is no way to enter the waypoint manually with keyboard in this fmc I believe.
