January 21, 201313 yr Hello! I have been searching a little in the AOM manual and here but didn't find anything (maybe it was in front of me.. but didn't see it). Is there any tutorial or information how to introduce new points in the FMC? I mean for example: 28DME distance from VOR "LOL" in radial 243. Thanks! Javier Rollon. Owner of JRollon Planes for Xplane
January 22, 201313 yr Japo, not all FMC provide what the NGX FMC provides Andreas BergPMDG 737NGX -- PMDG J41 -- PMDG 77L/77F/77W -- PMDG B744 -- i7 8700K PC1151 12MB 3.7GHz -- Corsair Cooling H100X -- DDR4 16GB TridentZ -- MSI Z370 Tomahawk -- MSI RTX2080 DUKE 8G OC -- SSD 500GB M.2 -- Thermaltake 550W --
January 22, 201313 yr Author But I read, that people did it. for example: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/388984-j41-fmcap-misses-user-defined-waypoint/page__hl__waypoint and here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/386904-fmc-advanced-functions/page__hl__waypoint but there is no tutorial how to introduce them. January 24, 201313 yr You can obtain a real manual for the Honeywell GNS-XLs, there is a lot of interesting reading there. Bartłomiej Ender
January 24, 201313 yr Thanks for that Bart. I just "Googled" it, and it came up #8. Never thought of looking before. Looks very interesting. We might "find" some more features that are implimented. The "Improved" model is very nice too. I wonder if we will get the "upgrade" in the J41 ??  .... [ just kidding! ] Cheers -- Peter Edrupt
February 9, 201313 yr Author You enter name of the vor than radial and distance. LOL243/28 trying to do it now.. but where is the / symbol in the FMC??? Javier Rollon. Owner of JRollon Planes for Xplane
February 9, 201313 yr Author Don't know about that / simbol... I just discovered that I have to put the * key after the vor to enter the offset page. That is what I wanted to know. I don't know if there is another direct way to enter.. but the / symbol don't exist in the fmc.. and there is no way to enter the waypoint manually with keyboard in this fmc I believe. Javier Rollon.
