August 16, 200421 yr I'm looking for a set of 727 performance charts (epr settings etc) to use with Captain Sim's three holer. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
August 16, 200421 yr What about the ones in the library here? 727perf.zip ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
August 16, 200421 yr Hi,This is on a Brasilian site (very interesting, but in portugese) The pdf's that you can download are copies of the english B727 manuals:http://727.assintel.com.br/files/down2.htmRegardsHugo
August 16, 200421 yr I don't know if these charts are the same as the ones already given but check this site:http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/acftdata.html
August 17, 200421 yr Take my advice and forget about trying to fly the CS727 using EPR settings...they are badly dorked. As an example, the EPR gauges show something like 1.6 EPR at idle power on the ground when they should be a hair above 1.0Also of note, you'll find that the fuel flow readings are considerably off from actual fuel flow. If you set a constant fuel flow and time for 6 min, you should see a fuel burn in that timed period equal to total pph/10...the gauges are way, way off. Examination with a test panel such as AFDS confirms the errors.I was interested enough at one point to actually reprogram a new engine gauge set in xml based on some of the discussions in the various panel/aircraft design forums. To save time, I re-used gauge bitmaps from some other gauges I had (written by others) so I can't/won't redistribute the gauge set I use. Absent that, though, you can use N1 RPM to set power fairly reliably if you can find a chart that shows no-EPR settings for the three-holer. I frankly can't remember if Matt Zagoren's data in the avsim library does that or not. That, at least, allows you to set power...you're still left with the wildly inaccurate fuel flow readings.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
August 18, 200421 yr Thanks for the heads up on the charts here at AVSIM. Not that surprised about the EPR situtation. Same for the IK DC-9 - have to use N1 there as well. Thanks all.
August 18, 200421 yr Then you should try out Stellan Hilmersby's freeware DC-9 panel...EPRs work just fine...I know a few folks that think that it's actually a better panel than the payware Iron Knuckles package. It merges quite well with the JetCity DC-9s, too.http://www.hilmersby.com/CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
