August 17, 200421 yr Hi all, I have a P4-3.06ghz with 1gb of ram, Radeon 9600 256mg video. It really is a great improvement over my old system. Very smooth & detailed except for one thing. Certain panels will delay as they draw the texture when I switch to that view. This is most notable on the Eaglesoft Citation X but it does happen on other planes that I don't fly as much. I have AGP aperture set to 256 in the bios. Render to texture is off since with it on I get panel flicker. Any ideas? Thanks for any input.Pat Callaghan Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
August 17, 200421 yr This is common with many models with complex textures. There isn't anyway to fix it other than using less complex textures for the airplanes. For example, the Eaglesoft plane has 4 different models which give different levels of performance and visual quality. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

August 17, 200421 yr I have an antiquated machine so see this problem often. One way to reduce the effect is to cycle through all the cockpit views once at the onset. After that the side views pop up rather quickly -- at least faster than before.-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
August 17, 200421 yr If you have added the lines "Panel as a texture" or "texture AGP" and have them disabled this could be the culprit.Enable them again.
