Can't accelerate while on the ground

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

One day my planes (all types) started to move VERY slowly while being on the ground. Sometimes I need to use full throttle just to taxi to a runway and then I can't gain enough speed to take off even using very long runway. I looks like it's not a brakes/flaps//fuel/passengers/wind issue.

Did any of you have the same problem and found the solution?

It's most likely the parking brake. Press SHIFT+X to disable it. You may not know as some don't have a button in the cockpit for the parking brake (some don't even have a cockpit).

Disconnecting my joystick helped. Later it turned out that the trigger (responsible for regular brakes) was active all the time although it didn't get physically stuck. After key reassignment everything works fine.

Thanks a lot!

Slawojek, cleared to destination as filed. Climb and maintain planned altitude. Continue own navigation as filed. Squawk .........
